If the smoke alarm goes off, dinner's ready

Was woken by a smoke alarm about 3am last July.... Well actually was woken by K giving me a dig in the ribs as I hadn't actually heard it.
It was a false alarm from another flat...but good to know it worked (though clearly not loud enough for me -thanks Kate!).
As a result, further Saunders have been added to the system as a number of other residents failed to wake!
Fire brigade only actually came when K called them....which again was ridiculous as the block is linked directly to the station! |

It won't be linked direct to the station.
Some systems are linked to a third party who contact fire control.
most services will not send out pumps to afa's now . Unless it's confirmed a fire |
