I love make up and transforming my face. It is true with contouring it can give the illusion of a slimmer face, different shaped eyes, rounder/squarer chin etc.  |

One of my friends sent me a massive package of make up a few weeks ago, lots of nice MAC pigment powders and all sorts of goodies, so I've been playing with lots of statement looks recently. I'm too lazy to try contouring or to wear it on a daily basis though  |

I hate buying makeup. Being extremely indecisive and constantly changing my mind with anything I buy,imagine how difficult it is for me in Boots at the makeup counters. |

I haven't, I've seen the sped up videos on YouTube though and it just doesn't appeal to me at all, especially when it's all caked on. |

If done well looks good. Originally it was a makeup artist trick for showing light and shading in photography because of the strength of lights they use.
What looks good on a photogaph is actually really heavy makeup. On the day to day some people look strange with contouring of they go full tilt. Always best to start with powders that blend well xx |

I'm often envious of other people's make up. I'm rubbish at getting different looks. I've sat for ages fiddling around and watching step by step videos, just looks awful when I've finished.
Only wear a small amount and always the same colours.

I like makeup and watch the YouTube vids but its way too time consuming all the contouring stuff. I would just look stupid if I tried it. Do love my MAC products only brand I've found so far that suits my dark skin.

If people like contouring I can recommend the gewn stefani palet by urban decay it's slightly pricey but well worth it.
I used to love benefit cosmetics bit recently spent a small fortune after having the lass in urban decay show me how to do eye liner hence I pretty much bought everything. The foundation is so smooth and melts into the skin and the concealer works wonders under the eyes and possibly for the tvs/ts on here work the that shadow.
She showed me a trick with the palet which is contouring but in half the time |

I got the new all nighter one it's very good.
I took back the pore minimiser as after two weeks the lid broke so wouldn't screw back on, she remembered the lip stick I wanted she now had in stock and gave it to me free as I had to come out of my way to take back pore stuff.
The foundation is just brilliant best stuff I've ever used and people have been commenting how I'm 'glowing' recently. |
