Sad to hear the news. His catchphrase "you'll like this, not a lot" irritated me, but he was a good entertainer.

RIP Paul Daniels

Hove, mainly…

Be weird if they opened his coffin and he'd disappeared.

Sad for his family.

Filthy Fuckeryville

I was born same day as him - albeit many many years later.

You should like that fact - but not a lot!

RIP x

I grew up watching his shows. My love of magic comes from seeing him on tv as a kid. Sad news.

RIP.

A good magician.

You think they will try the trick where they put those metal sheets in the coffin in the mid section?

That's why people are looking at me funny. People think in a magician coz of the way I look and dress

RIP to another piece of childhood gone.

I was never a massive fan, and to.be fair technicaly his son was the netters magician, but you can't fault his length of carerer, and the work he did was great, a sad loss to the world of entertainment

Tommy Copper described PD as "to magic, what Muhammed Ali is to boxing".

I don't think you can get higher praise than that

Sad.

Eccentric but a great guy.

Him and Debbie were devoted to each other.

RIP.

I found him a bit irritating, but you can't deny his and Debbie's class in dealing with the jibes about the age gap between them, nor their staying power as a couple.

I'm sure he is a great loss to her and his children.

Sad, I'm glad he didn't suffer for long, his voice irritated me but he was good at what he did. He was also in a marriage where they always came across as very happy. Thoughts to his family

Sad news.
