The world's No.1 player Has said male tennis players should be paid more than female tennis players as more people pay to watch men than women..

Yes they should, there's more interest, more ticket sales, more sponsorship opportunities in the men's game. Plus longer sets &matches.
Would you expect England women's footballers to be paid the same as the men's team ? |

Tennis is rather old fashioned that way but there's no doubt that the men's game is what draws the crowd & the money in.
Women's tennis has come along way thanks to the Venus Sisters, their style is more masculine & interesting to watch. I generally find the Women's game dull & coupled with the high pitch squealing / grunting it makes me want to switch the TV off! |
