You can switch off site images! 
Why did no one tell me this before?
4(ish) years on Fab and just discovering this tool. I can stop holding my phone awkwardly on the train now. |

I use the forums on my commute and on coffee breaks at work.
Images see off most of the day for me.
Makes pic fabbing and face pic threads a bit more risky  |

I knew about it but never use it.
I need the images as part of my fab experience. Besides, I'd only have to revisit profiles that interest me with that option switched back on if I turned them off. Therefore, I am saving time by not turning them off really |
