Has anyone ever been told that they look younger than their actual age?
Even though I'm 31, I've been told by my friends that I look like I'm in my early 20's which I always take as a compliment.
I think it is nice to be complimented about looking younger than your age. Don't you agree? |

Apart from my grey hair I look younger and people generally think I'm mid to late 20's.
It has its advantages and disadvantages but I guess ultimately it's way better than looking very old for your age. |

Occasionally.
Bought alcohol from the supermarket 2 years ago and the check out woman carded me.
I don;t drive, have no photo ID (unless you count a passport, which I don't routinely carry to Tescos).
I was like, I've got a house, a mortgage, a job in London and a 5 year old daughter - I NEED THAT BOOZE.

When me and my mum are out with my grandson we always get it. She doesnt look her age either and when shes pushing him and people are cooing saying about him being good for grandma and she proudly announces great grandma they take one look at me and say does thay mean your grandma |

I used to get it alot but not so much the last year or two.
Did have a couple of people think that I'm the older sister rather the mum of a teenager, which made me laugh. They really need a trip to Specsavers.

I'm finally going a bit grey on the face furniture but other than two small lines under my eyes - nothing.

Constantly being told I look mid 30s when I'm actually mid 40s. Living it as when I was in my 30s would get told I look 50....
Mrs also always being told she looks a lot younger than she is. |

I'm 52 in a couple of months, I get told regularly I don't look my age. Although they can't have seen me in a morning .. at 6 this morning the face looking back at me in the mirror looked nearer 72,

I have good days and not so good days.
One if the few benefits of being fat is that it tends to fill out the wrinkles, so I'm relatively wrinkle-free.
Goodness knows how that will go as I lose more weight though. |

Got refused entry to the silver screen at the cinema, which is 55 and over, I was most put out as it only cost £3.00 plus tea and biscuits! lol Most of the time I'm told I look at least 10 years younger, if not more, so can't complain really |

I'm 23 but as soon as I turned 17 people started thinking I was older and I rarely ever got asked for ID, like for e.g. When I was 19 people thought I was in my late twenties or early thirties and that was mainly at work. Nowadays it's still the same so most people who don't know me or my real age guess older and when I ask why they usually say it's the way I come across/act or my height or face etc which make them think that.  |

A couple off ladies I was dealing/speaking with in general at a work event once a few years back they thought I had a wife and some kids back at home and was in my early 30s as they knew I didn't go out much....I just laughed and told them the truth that I was 21 and they looked a bit shocked by it  |

Marc always gets told he looks young for his age. The last person who said it said he looked 19. It gets annoying for him.
Generally people think I'm older than him even though he's 4 years older than me  |

I've always looked younger, annoying when I was young as couldn't get served in pubs. Now I'm older I appreciate what I have

Since apparently pretty much everyone looks younger than they are, either there's a lot of lying bastards trying to get into people's pants or we've got a warped idea of what people should look like at different ages. |

Used to get comments that I looked younger but since going grey that doesn't happen any more. I blame it on the paper round I had as a kid. Particularly Sunday mornings with the supplements!  |

Yes I do, which is a good sign. However, what does irk me are people who get arsey and think they can start playing funny games, as they don't realise my age. They then don't expect the reaction of a deadpan face and direct reply. |

Since 15 I've looked a good 5 years older than I am, which was great getting into pubs when I was 16/17 but now I ain't so keen! |

Unfortunately I am on the other end of this, I always get told I look and act older than I am. Guess I take this as a compliment from people older than me but don't like it when I get told it by people my own age... |

I (Mrs) look younger than I am. But It makes me laugh at work, when people who are complaining ask for the manager and I turn up and when I'm out of an evening and tell bouncers I've been married for 11 years and have 2 kids, seeing their faces haha funny |

I have to agree with ruby. I'm 44 get told I look younger but people are just being polite. Of course I look 44 what the heck age am I supposed to look like .  |

But surely you must have come across people in real life where you've thought 'wow, I can't believe your XYZ age'...?

I get told I look younger by men in clubs. The (lack of) lighting is very flattering to me and, apparently, very aging for the men of my age I am with.
I don't have many wrinkles because I'm fat and I've been moisturised my whole life. Plus I drink a lot of water.

I am often told I look younger than my age, I don't go in for false modesty and know that I do but it's down to luck and good genes...nothing I've done. My father from who I've inherited these genes has always looked very much younger than his years even now at nearly 89. |

All the time:
Best one was the guy who told me that "have fun while you can, you won't be doing X and Y and all that other stuff you do when you get to my age ..."
So I asked him how old he was; I am 12 years older than him

We think we look younger than we are lol, some people are amazed after playing with us at a party or club and then finding out they pulled the oldest people there! Or maybe we could lie about our ages on here like a lot of people |

I'm fully aware of that....I'm kinda with ruby here. I've never encountered that many people that don't look their age. In fact i see far more people that i think look older than their age. I think a lot of people are remembering what 40 year olds used to look like |

I do find people are surprised that I'm over 40, but I think it's the random hair colour that confuses them.
It can be really hard to judge ages.
I work with a gorgeous lady 10 years older than me who could pass for late 30s. Then again have met others a similar age to me that could easily be mistaken for my parents age.

I get mixed messages ... I get told i look both younger and older ... I give it no importance anymore
Although went to the cinema like a few months back and the guy asked if I wanted a child ticket that was complimenting but an insult at the same time |

I think you look quite a bit younger.
People just tend to vary quite a lot so it's hard to get a decent gauge. |

It really is hard! I think personally I have quite a baby face. When I was 17 I was asked my age...they had surmised I could be any age between 18 and 34! |
