Tough one as there was great music and some jolly awful stuff made in each decade

I went to see 100s of bands in the 90s mostly metal bands,you cant beat a bit of stage diving
But i listen to kerrang most nights and there is some great music now |

60's with great stuff from Motown , British bands such as The Beatles , The Who , Small Faces etc , then great stuff in the 70's from Pink Floyd , The Jam , the 2-Tone bands , plus many more. Early 80's and late 80's was good with the likes of The Smiths , Stone Roses, The Cure etc , Britpop era of the 90's had some proper bands again but most stuff after 2000 is a bit shite  |
