Quick question, even given the nature of this site, do you lot prefer to get to know someone before you fuck or do you prefer the anonymity of a one off?

This. Either through social meets or chatting here. Preferably both.

I've done the one off thing a few times and the sex has never been good. And on one occasion, a bit scary.

I don;t need to know every detail about the person - I need a connection though and that (usually) happens through some form of prior communication.

Depends on the mood. Sometimes the anonymity is great for meets with single guys, but for couples meets we like to get to know each other a bit better.

Well I like to get to know someone for enough time to at least develop some chemistry. Sometimes it could be a few minutes combined with the thrill of the moment, other times a few weeks of messaging and flirting is a nice build up.

Prefer a social "getting to know you" meet initially - I prefer to have at least some sort of a 'spark' or connection with anyone I meet - Often seem to end up as friends, usually with benefits....!
