Does anyone fly a drone/ quadcopter etc. ?
Just dipping my toe into the world of RC flight and looking for a simple machine to get used to this.
The Syma XC5 is looking good and has a 2mp camera

Here's your shive further down it.
If you want a big ish quad there's a few about. If you want one that carries a camera and can be programmed to fly where you like look at quanum Nova from HobbyKing.
FPV quad racing ( YouTube ) is the latest thing...
But.. Do look IP the drone code from the BMFA. As a hobby we don't need any more near misses with real planes! |

Cant beat any of the phantom range, i have a fairly basic one with a go pro attached via a gamble, made so great films for my friend business, very easy to fly and found stronger than i though, after hitting power line and trees with no damage x |

What's the ball park figure for a decent programmable camera one. Would love to get some decent pics of the house and it surroundings? Playing with my Nephews at Xmas and he lost it. |

I work with uav's and flying wings / swinglets do know the CAA position, line of sight flying etc.  |

This would just be a hobby for me ... but would ultimately love to take a course to fly a wing  |
