I was told exercise helps with both of them, as it releases endorphins.
For me it is put on the DVD TT closer to the edge, cheers me up no end.
I slip into something uncomfortable, that helps me now and then. |

Learn your triggers. No whats going to make you feel better and do it.
If its watching kids films keep a stock pile of them in.
What helps me is keeping to a routine and keeping to my mini challenges. Every day my main challenge is to get showered, put something nice on and go out for a coffee everything else is a bonus. If i can just do that on my worst days i feel ive achieved something |

A power walk by myself (a rarity with three young kids) or crocheting helps soothe my anxiety. I suffer really badly with it. Sex helps too, endorphins are a marvellous thing. x |

Correctly functioning nerve endings attached to an equally functional neurological system will typically allow most people to feel better.
Lol, but emotionally, I find music, singing and interactions with loved ones tend to cool me when I'm upset and stressed, unfortunately though I suffer from clinical depression and sometimes I'm just too 'heavy' to properly engage with any of these things, even to help myself, and so just being able to be alone somewhere and giving myself time to let it pass is all I can do |

Though I'd imagine in those dark periods, a cuddle from someone I love romantically would feel wonderful, though sadly I have no one like that in my life presently either, thoughts like this come to me during these periods, and make my mood feel even blacker. |
