Winks I rarely look at.

Friend requests from someone who I haven't chatted to will be deleted.

A message, if the person who's messaging me fits what I'm looking for.

Winks I don't look at and I tend to block unsolicited friend requests, as those people who send them clearly can't read.

Definitely message. I don't look at winks either. And some don't like adding you to their friends list, unless they have chatted with you for a bit.

Wink or message first. You wouldn't walk up to someone in a pub and ask them to be your friend without speaking to them first, so why should it be any different on here

Message - a decent one, one we know that you've taken the time to read our profile, let us know a little.

Winks - depends which of us is logged in as to whether we look at them.

Friends request - if we haven't chatted then it's a block and delete.

Same goes on my singles profile and happens countless times a day despite stating the obvious.

Just lets us know that you haven't read the profile....
