Depends if i like the person or not..
if im in a rush i will read the message but wont have time to reply.. but by the time i get round to it, ive already seen they have been online since probs saw i read it and made a judgement im an ignorant twat |

Depends on my day, I'm inconsistent.
If someone doesn't reply to me, eventually, I'd take it they're not bothered with that conversation or whatever. I'm terrible at getting back to mates, but others I'm more conscious of replying to I think. |

Apart from texts my phone doesn't always notify me I have a new message. If I miss the toast notification I will only see the message when I use the app. Kik is worse for this,it never gives me a red tile notification. |

If it is a message on WhatsApp I tend to answer fairly quickly. Very few people have my number and most of them are my friends from abroad so I usually stay on top of it.
But for kik it can be a few days sometimes because I turned off the notifications for kik on my phone (it got annoying) so I only check that I have messages every few days... |

Normally as soon as I see I have a message I deal with it as required, but All my notification sounds are turned off 'unless I'm waiting for a particular reply"
(Although I have noticed I'm not responding as fast for a few people) |

It depends on what I'm doing and who it's is. If it's someone I like then as quick as I can. If it's someone I don't then it depends how petty I'm feeling |

I'm just not particularly glued to my phone, so I don't notice stuff quickly, including via apps.
My life is too precious and self-directed to have it railroaded by others' interruptions and fit to their demands etc.

i can be rubbish at responding.sometimes its my fault but sometimes not.
i cant have take my phone into work so sometimes i come back to group messages with like 50 messages on them and i cant be bothered to read them all so just reply to the last one.

It depends, sometimes I respond instantly sometimes after few minutes sometimes after few hours. If I feel the other person is not pulling their weight in conversation I will stop responding completely. I do think however that the apps that show the message has been read are shitty -_- I hate that. Sometimes I can read a message but don't necessarily have the time or will to reply at that moment, it may look like I'm ignoring someone! |
