Aliens? Really? More action than horror, surely?
The 1989 version of Woman in Black is pretty terrifying, and tbf so is the new(ish) Hammer version.
I've not watched it for ages, but I seem to remember Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte being scary. |

ewwwwww i not seen that version of that movie ,the remake scared me enough lol ,is it more scary??? "
it was made of tv, I used to have it on video - funny feeling that there is a rights issue with dvdvd release...
It's not as psychological as the Hammer one but it always spooked the fuck out of me. It's less dark, and well lit terror is so much more appealing/pantwettingly real |

Ghost Ship
Saw
The Cube
Saw Exorcist when it was first released and was traumatised. When it was shown on tv I told my girls it had scared me. They watched the first half hour and got bored and laughed at me. As for Carrie... |

"Salems Lot, I was about 14/15 it was on the TV, the bit with the wee boy float in outside the window, still gives me the heebs !
That series started my love of Stephen King novels.
Mr ddc"
One of my favorite books, that I return to every so often
The series was dead scary when I was younger |
