Have you been talking to some one and said something you completely didnt mean.
I was talking to a gorgeous girl and the conversation was flowing really well it felt we just clicked and i meant to say"how old are you" when in fact for some unknown reason what came out was "how much are you" needless to say we didnt chat for much longer as she couldnt wait to run away lol.

Everyone is always fine with just chatting when I say I'm not looking to meet. Then when I say I'm in a monogamous relationship, they just stop sending messages.

Ive said some pretty stupid things in my time. The one that sticks in my mind was when i was being chatted up by a gorgeous geordie lad and i asked him if there was a river in newcastle i never even stayed around long enough to find out if he was still interested or not |

I was chatting to a squaddie and asked him what he did in the army. He drove trucks.
"Ooooo what colour?" I said.
He wet himself laughing and didn't answer.
I kinda didn't know what to say after that. Took me a couple of years to figure out why he laughed.  |

A guy at work used to regularly make conversation with me but would always say really unintelligible things, unless we were emailing. I was gobsmacked to find out he was a really senior lawyer when we both moved to the same department 
It was only then that I realised I'd always made him nervous…but by then, I'd committed myself to someone infinitely his inferior (in many, many ways) but who never got tongue tied….Oh….the irony!! |
