Undervalued Sweets of Yesteryear

For tonight's pudding I decided to make a chocolate-lime cheesecake. I'd totally forgotten how much I loved chocolate limes as a kid, yet whenever we have a sweet thread, it's easy to forget the lesser known ones.
So, what else can you remember buying a 1/4 of, in a little white paper bag, from an old lady with a shop full of large glass jars?

im nt crazy about sweets now - but choc limes were my fave - frys turkish delight i love - i used to work in a newsagents and sell the weigh out sweets - i remember selling a quarter of fishermans friends - everthing else was priced per quarter and they were priced per ounce - the guilt i felt haha - |

Pure sugar but absolutely amazing. The Spanish was the perfect thing for eating it with. |

I remember buying a quarter of sherbet lemons from a lady with a shop full of glass jars.....but then it was only last week

Anyway, my favourites were
Cola cubes
Fruit salad
Spangles
Space Dust - thinking about it space dust would be fun to try whilst giving oral

To be fair, you'd warrant a new one. This one has been back and forth as emergency rations on various DofE expeditions over the past 5 years
