To be honest, I didn't expect much from that rag but they can't even report the correct details... the posts they screenshot clearly state that it's a social meet yet the "reporter" states that it's a sex fest.
So if there's any "journalists" - I use that term lightly - watching this, if you want to write sensualist stories, don't do yourself a discredit & actually get the details right next time.  |

Depends on who has had their faces plastered all over their public pics? The journos have probably already downloaded them all so will already recognise you there even if you hide them now.

But for a fiver, it got some journo's story in press, that's a small price to pay when you compare it to the freelance war journalists, who pay thousands, sometimes to criminals to get them into a war zone and risk their lives to report the truth...
Proper journalists, not like those leeches that go for the lowest denominator of journalism, sex and the public.. An easy target for a fat lazy slug like creatures that feed off of the pus like excrement of pond scum...

The Star has a minimal circulation and those that do 'read' it dont generally go for stories with big words in them, besides there are no tits on show so most readers will skip the story entirely! |

Hmmm, if organising forum socials can't be done on the forum then this lovely, non sexual, way to meet virtual friends and make them real friends will be lost.
Personally, I like socials at a club where the closed environment offers a small level of protection but, often, the best bit is the pre-social social before people get glammed up and there's lots of chances to speak to people.

Spoke on this at Mingles last night and tbh we were not the only people there that said "FCK it the sooner everyone sticks their faces up as profiles the sooner what we do will move from "Seedy shite tabloids, swingers hiding" into the arena more where the LGBT boys & girls are, with them in the main accepted by Joe Public, with the possible exception of Mail & Star readers.
While the vast majority on here see themselves as maybe "being naughty" or "Our little secret" it's never going to change..
Just our opinion obviously. Possibly the term "Have the courage of your convictions" springs to mind..
So who's for wearing t-shirts with a giant Fab lolly printed on both sides

Outside Mingles is a "Shut the sex club" protestor, a dirty old man basically, doesn't talk to anyone, will not converse..So I told him that IMO while he stood there judging us not breaking the law, while 1/4mile away at kicking out time numerous people get in their cars and drive off some slmost certainly breaking a law and possibly causing more harm to others it was his morales that needed adjusting not ours..
As usual, no response though..I'll talk to him every time always being polite & courtious, maybe he'll hrt pee'd off and bugger off anyway..

There's not many comments, because they don't display any criticism. I've tried twice, and they're not displayed. The apparently don't moderate replies to other's comments, they are displayed straight away.

I don't think you guys should cancel the social. I understand that some of you will not want to go because of the press and personal reasons. But don't let the gutter press stop you doing this! It's a social and so what if it's a fab social we are consenting adults. If I had the transport/money I would defiantly join you all. Also those of you who can have you face pics as public. Never be ashamed of who you are.
I would stop my socials n I'm sure the other fab members who organise large socials would be discoraged either.

Out of 4 bikes (7 if we count curtsey bikes) its the first ive taken a pic on lol.
Its got some electrical gremlins though i need to chase down. And noticed a few trim clips missing.
Nothing major just things i need to get round to sorting but cause its my only transport it doesnt get a chance.
