Do you ever look in the local updates and just block people cause of their status?
I've blocked loads this evening cause their status has been very off putting to say the least. |

See, whilst I understand why you could think that, actually (surprisingly) some profiles read quite nicely, but the status updates can be so aggressive. There's no way on earth I'd want to risk my personal safety meeting up with someone like that. So if I spot a nasty attitude (and that goes for women and couples too....) then I see it as natural self preservation to block.xx |

I've had someone block me once due to a status I put up. It was a joke about Pistorious that they didn't care for and so they sent me a message informing me of this.
I've blocked people with status' referencing violence and drugs. |

I've only ever blocked two people. I very rarely see the point or feel the need to block. As long as you're not being really offensive to me personally then I'm not overly bothered by anything you may say or do. Certainly not enough to block you. |

We got blocked after being sent a picture of a cucumber in a fanny and a carrot up the arse. I was quite polite with my reply but we got called "knobs" and blocked.

It's a good tool for knowing who to avoid. They may 'look' lovely but their random status rants or boasts are a good indication of how unsuitable we'd be together so we know not to bother contacting them. |
