So did anyone enter this on Sunday? Pleased to say I finished it, muddiest I've ever been and coldest I think I've ever been in my life thanks to the arctic enema obstacle...

Wow September you're brave, at least this was done while the weather was still good....apart from the heavy wind....which really mattered after emerging from an ice cold pool of water struggling to breathe!

Good luck for September, I recommend Tough Mudder although if there are similar for cheaper which give more then maybe they're better, £11 to park, £11 per spectator to watch, oh and £11 for a burger!

Tough Mudder always sounds like Tony Soprano describing someone he respects.

I did total warrior last June and rough runner in October last year. Think the one that we are planning to do in September is a bear grylls survival one in Manchester

Well done I think I'll do next year too, I think I only did about 8 runs before it and virtually no strength training tbh.... Still nearly managed to finish the monkey bars obstacle though which was great fun!! I'd say you need to be able to jog 10km even at a slow pace is fine, most go quite slowly due to the distance you need to do and pacing themselves...
