they are best grown in open ground.....plenty of organic matter with good water holding properties...they re quite a thirsty crop...watch out for slugs and snails and dont let the ripening fruits touch the ground  |

i grew butternut squash last year what do you need to know there same ish "
I only grow stuff in pots now ...so was wondering if the patty pan small enough for a pot ?
Kin corgettes last year was not a good idea  |

I actually grew my own corn on the cob in a pot. was well chuffed  |
