Aye after I've checked out my local updates n messeged any new profiles that I like the look of (not many!) then there isn't really much left for me to do but browse the forums.
Everyone's different n uses the site differently though, some people are only here for the forums n some don't use them at all n spend hours sending messages to every profile within 100 miles......copy & paste or otherwise!
I do sometimes spend more time than I should here, usually browsing the forums as they can be very entertaining, but also like to take a break now n again.
I recently had some stuff going on so decided to take a break for a couple of months n surprised myself by managing to not log in once during that time!
So aye,the forums can be addictive, but It's not healthy to be spending hour after hour, day after day, month after month here!
If you feel you're spending too much time here,to the detriment of your real life, then take a break....the site's not going anywhere,n the same old threads n faces old n new will still be here when you return.

I meet on an ad hoc basis so I'm mainly here to chat.
I tend to be either all or nothing forum wise. I burn myself out, get bored / agitated with the threads & then logout for a few weeks.
When I'm off the site what goes on in here never crosses my mind. |
