Kindness and appreciation of everyone costs nothing.

Who cares if they're not your type or not what you're looking for. You don't know their story.

One thing I have learned over the years is the level that people share their lives, the good & badtimes.

Now I would not post if I lost a loved one, I just wouldn't log on and I would retreat to my loved ones for help and shared support.

But that does not make what others do differently wrong, it's their way to deal with it and they choose to engage with people on here.

Because I would not do it, I would not diminish in any other way someone else's way of dealing with grief. I would show them the respect of not posting.

It is easy to ignore a thread and roll your eyes, without causing upset.

It's a more dignified approach.

And this is from somebody who dislikes all the fluffy stuff and simpering on here, but the loss of a loved one is a situation that I have been in and the slightest & lightest touch of kindness can ease the pain significantly

I respect the _iew of the people who don't agree with the OP, the moment wasn't appropriate
