Anal about verifications

So, I've seen on some profiles people mention they want a verification if they leave you one as it's rude blah blah blah.
I personally don't get all het up on getting them, I always ask if the person wants one, but I wouldn't demand one, or get pissy if they didn't.
It's not like it's Amazon and you need to read a re_iew before you meet that person!!!!
What's your _iew on them?
Do you demand them? If so why? Or are you a couldn't be mithered? |

I think veri's are important, more so for men, woman will get 30 offers of a meet everyday so your right they mean nothing to you, and yes they probably don't do anymore for someone than a few messages would do, but most men don't get the chance at those "few messages"
It does annoy me when I meet people and they fail to leave a veri, I hate the in depth detail ones, just a few lines saying yeah he is the bloke in the pictures and we did/didn't have a good night is fine, especially if you send them a nice write up which they show on there profile.
Thread after thread here woman and Cpls are complaining about the "No shows" they encounter, well a few veri's on a single males profile should help people find the ones that will turn up and not let people down. |

As newbies to the site we've found that having them helps you get in touch with people but now we have a couple we wouldn't want to collect them.
The odd one is nice just to show that we're still a couple and not just one of us remaining on the couples profile after splitting up.
We check for this as we've heard a couple of horror stories. |

And yes I do have them, I just don't display them as some women do get jealous of your veris and I've had altercations about them |

After a few to prove you're genuine and an actual hoooman I don't see why people get worked up over them.
Maybe for single guys it's more important I don't know  |

Verifications are handy to show 2 things for me.
1. The persons genuine
2. They have / do meet people on some form of regular basis.
For me that cuts out most if not all of the timewasters / dreamers. |

I like to give and receive veris..I don't care if you don't display them..and more often than not I don't either..but I have a really bad memory and that's why I like them. |

I prefer to meet world who have them tbh kinda like a reference lol x but I'm a bit hypercritical because I don't show mine x I worry that they make me look like a hoe lol x |

I like veris after socials to proove were still active on the site but it doesn't bother me if we don't recieve one. Not overly fussed about veris after sex as hate it when what I have been up to is published for all to see so don't always show them if we get them anyway |

I don't really look at them. I would if I thought there was a possibility of meeting in the future. I'd prefer to meet people with a few rather than loads. |

Perhaps not a 're_iew', per se; but I would posit that that's exactly how many single fems and couples think when they're 'shopping' for single guys.
As TemplarWarrior's already pointed out, in such a saturated market, even a single verification can be the USP between your profile and countless others, in so far as affording you the opportunity to put your personality across in subsequent messages. (I think that's all the mileage I can squeeze out of that analogy!) |

we recently deleted our account of 4 years - lost about 80 verifications - got about 10 back in an hour or two of new account - but they arent the be all and end all |

I'd never get pissy or demand a veri but if I've left one it's nice if its reciprocated. I usually ask if they're into the whole veri thing because if they're not then it's not an issue.

I always leave a verification, I don't get all grumpy if I don't get one in return.
I have hidden my verifications , I am quite happy to share them with friends who ask.
I do get a tad fed up with those who beg for verification or fabbs. Apart from good friends who as fun forumites help get chums up in the hot list |

I think the first one is a hurdle that's good for many to overcome. I verify people who need it or anyone I want to 'keep all to myself', as people love seeing those and respect your ownership rights

Not bothered about them. Most are usually generic anyway "photos don't do her justice" "a great girl who deserves to be treated with respect" etc etc... If only one had a quid for every time these comments pop up on veris. |

Not everybody has either the time or desire to meet on a regular basis. Personally speaking we both have busy work, family and social lives. Swinging is an occasional distraction when we get time to do it. Not everybody has the time to visit clubs every week but we're not time wasters  |
