Would wind turbines be more acceptable if they were painted? Belgium at least paints the shafts shades of green.

Pretty pastel shades or bold and brassy colours?

Red white and blue for the Home counties?

Orange White and Green for Bradford?

Or do what they do with rural mobile phone masts - colour them green, add a few 'branches' and make them look like trees.

I don't mind them as they are in white - I'd sooner see a few fields full of them as opposed to ending up like the plant in Japan, spewing its radiation everywhere

I love wind turbines, and they are perfect in white.

I'm a bit worried whether they'll stay white or not. How many years does the paint last?

Will they goes sort of green and mossy eventually?

Are there going to be jobs going as wind turbine cleaners?

Dee, xx
