I think you can buy basic gumshields in sports shops. They don't fit quite as well as the bespoke stuff pro rugby guys use but they should stop the grinding. |

My snoring was horrendous but has miraculously stopped almost completely since ive lost weight |

It can often be caused by the type of pillow you use.
There was, incidentally, a feature in my daily papaer this week on medical problems caused by wrong pillows; I get very bad neck pain and It was useful for me to find out how to solve the problem.
I recall seeing a point on teeth grinding; do you wnat me to look out the info and reply privately? |
