Banoffee pie America, I heard today the English invented it in the 1970's... All these years I thought it was American 
Note to self ...put banoffee on the shopping list.

Well I never....... sheeesh it's true,,,, apparently the dessert was actually invented in Britain at the Hungry Monk Restaurant in East Sussex, by owner Mackenzie and his chef, Ian Dowding.
How would we cope without google...  |
