Some people are able to be nasty pieces of work, out for revenge at any cost.
I've no idea why but I'd hazard a guess at life experience, having been treated badly or just character traits. |

There are men and women on here who are nasty pieces of work, there are these types in all walks of life. Generally, they lack self confidence and feel the need to belittle others to make themselves feel better. |

Nasty people have generally been fucked up by someone else. They still make choices of course, but it's harder for them to make the right ones."
That's not always true as I had a fucked up childhood and my life as I know it only really began when I left home...Since then I've tried to do the right thing whenever possible. Everybody knows when they choose to do something whether it's the right thing to do, whether they do it or not is a different matter  |

Oh I fully agree - we can break the cycle, but sadly many do not. I don't believe people become 'nasty' unless they have been damaged though. |
