I find a few collers and gloves on our wanders .
The strangest thing we found was one Halloween evening. Pooch ran off in the woods as he does , it was dark ans we saw some flashes of light . He legged it over to them.
I heard a scream so ran to see what was up.
There I found a couple dressed as a wizard ans a witch , in a partial state of undress , taking Erm out door pictures lol .
Sadly we didn't get asked to join in lol

I found a climax magazine in the local infants school field years ago, they say kids grow up fast as well. Went after the dogs ball when playing on the field, there it was.
Yamaha FZ 600 in some bushes in a forest in Skelmersdale, out on the new mountain bike and noticed the exhaust sticking out of the bush. |

Won a tenner once on a scratch card, went to the shop got the tenner put it in my jeans pocket (tight pair of jeans) and without realising pulled my hand out with the tenner and lost it, all within 20 minutes |

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else |
I found some money. Rather a lot of money. In fact, I guarantee it's more than you're thinking.
Anyway, returned it to the owner, and was given a finder's fee, which worked out as less than 0.0001%

I found a skeleton in the kitchen in my first year halls of residence. Pesky med students. However they had been kind enough to take her on a pub crawl around London before abandoning her next to the fridge freezer! By recollection, she cropped up in various places for the remainder of the term and was affectionately named Joan Bones. |

A child.
Worked as a cleaner on Gatwick many years ago. I was on a team that travelled down from Yorkshire 7 on 7 off.
One day one of the lads shout. Hey up theres a chab In this ova head. We all rushed over and fast a sleep 30 minutes after the place had disembarked a little baby fast asleep. It took us 20 minutes to convince security we were telling the truth and another 15 or so for this lady to very nonchalantly arrive and collect her lost and found.
Apparently on these long hauls from the sub continent they pop the kids in there out of the way |

There and to the left a bit |
Funniest one was sat on a commuter train a few years back when an old style plastic vibrator rolled down from under the seat and continued to roll back and forth for the rest of the journey. Never did work out which passenger it belonged to, although there were lots of grins and blushes from all around me.
Needless to say no-one picked it up to hand into lost property!! |

I read that as Virginie was banned from this thread .
I found a set of keys once (car, house... the lot) in the middle of a field by s country lane in the middle of nowhere as I was walking the dog. Had visions of a couple having a huge barney about driving and someone stopping and lobbing the keys into the field.
A little further on a found a solo woman's shoe
I never found out what happened even though I handed the keys in at the police station and left my details.

I had to buy a dog harness to take my little dog to the vets to be put to sleep, he was very old and ill. I didn't want to take it home afterwards and it was too good to throw away, so I put it on a Bush and hoped a dog walker would take it. The collar I put on my husband's grave. |

"I lost a pair of trousers on a meet once
Think we need the back story to this one "
You can wait; there are details that are not allowed on the forums and others that I just wouldn't reveal in public on grounds of taste.

Not something I have found personally but still something that sticks in my head.
When I was younger I was having a family walk on the beach and there was a man digging in the mud ( I assume her was getting bait for fishing) he let out an almighty cry of pure terror as he had dug up a human skull! The police where called and the beach was cordoned off. |

When I was a kid we found a suicide case parked up in a lay-by. It was horrible when we realised he was dead. I felt really bad for those he left behind.
