I'm currently sitting in the Barbers round from the office... the funny looks I'm getting are hilarious. 
I have a massive amount of hair so I got an undercut done a while ago...it's the best thing ever but no-one would ever guess that half my hair is missing.
So the men in here clearly think I'm not in the right place and the barber has just decided to put a pattern in for me... bargain fiver hairdo! Win!
Where's the last place you felt out of place?

For me I term it as out of place in 'this life'  "
I see it as just the way I am. I've learned to embrace it as much as I can. Though at times it can be a bit of a pain in the arse. |

There are very few locations either of us feel in place we're odd and no mistake.
Now I want to know what pattern you've had put in and can you ask why they charge treble the amount for a woman's hair cut...thank you  |

I want l to have an undercut but she is a bit nervous about work, but she has a lot of thick hair that could cover it day to day, and then have it on show when out |

They charged the guy before me twelve quid so I thought I did pretty well. It'll be a different story tonight when I part with eighty quid for my Brazilian blow dry but that's once every three months so I can live with that. He just did some stripes... I don't really wear my hair up apart from when I'm at home so it doesn't really make any odds. |

It's seriously saved me a shed load of time when it comes to drying my hair not to mention being boiling in the summer. I don't think I'll bother growing it back ever. |

That will be choosing the wrong queue for the till at a local fuel station which apparently not only sells petrol and diesel it also stocks newspapers and confectionary, hot and cold foods a selection of freshly made Danish pastries and sandwiches , hot and cold beverages and a cash back payment scheme , lottery tickets and a chance to settle household bills or top up pay as you go devises,,,

Oh we embrace it alright. We find it quite amusing sometimes though. We were at a party on Saturday where we knew nobody. We made ourselves pleasant and chatted with anyone who didn't back away making the sign of the cross but we're clearly the object of much scrutiny I got Mr N to check and my devil's tail and horns definitely didn't show.

anywhere people are drinking...can't stand the shit or people when they're on that particular drug.
weddings and christenings and all that stuff i avoid like the plauge, even family ones as i won't wear shirts and trousers and all that crap, i feel very stupid trussed up like a bloody penguin.
actually...any family gatherings annoy me, alot of my family i can't really be arsed with at all.
shops and town in general...was there the other day watching people roving around the shops pawing at products and crap they don't need like some kind of gullible zombies..i feel very out of place amongst these types.

I was with this Spanish bird, Manu, one new year's eve. We were at a silver screen fancy dress party/club night. Great fun. We're all off our tits &c. I'm dressed as Charlie Chaplain (Hitler mustache, bowler hat, cane, jacket and oversize trousers n' that).
So Manu and I are having a cigarette out the back and she's going on about the back door of an adjoining building.

So, frankly, nothing happened. And after 15 mins of getting cold, Manu drags me out of the club, round the front of the building and into...

It's like Strictly Ballroom in there.
And in staggers Charlie Chaplain on the arm of some pissed Spanish fat bird and I swear the record jumped and everyone stopped and stared.

Only ever worked in one establishment where we had a proper works xmas meal you either like booze or you don,t I like it more when it fits the occasion so when the wine and beer/lager came out you could forget work .. for the rest of the afternoon it was a way of getting together and saying sh*t to everything even some of the folk that worked there.. it was more like bonding with who you worked with we felt freed up under alcohol alcohol has its uses in the right place. |

I have never sounded as people expect me too, although that is lessening now that more people sound as I do.
The inverted snobbery on here often makes me uncomfortable.
My mental health can affect whether I feel able to make myself fit in. I mostly do and never feel I don't have a right to to somewhere.

I don't blend!
I never have.
As a kid it was terrible not to blend I wanted to be the same as everyone else.
As a young adult over 18 - 30 - I embraced not blending and enjoyed being a bit different.
Now I just live my life and don't really give a fuck.
I still don't blend ...
