If there was a vote to prohibit shopping on Boxing Day, which way do you vote

We would definatly vote yes as we hate getting out of the house to safe a few quids for some junk we will hardly use, and bought for the sake of been little cheaper.

Some of my most trusted dresses have come from a Boxing Day sale. If I have it in me to go, I will. But I won't go anywhere near a next store.

Why would I want to ban something that doesn't affect me though?

Consumerism and greed will always win. There are no way shops will close on Boxing Day, crap for those who work in retail but the demand.is there even if it us often created by retailers themselves

the DFS sale lasts longer than one day.I worked in retail .they store things up in the warehouse specially for sale times its usually stuff they couldn't sell any normal time.sales are a retail gimmick and a bit false.how many times do you get told its gone or its now out of stock.the retail market loves the fools gold rush.no I'd rather stop at home.anyway if you've been drinking Christmas day should you really be driving to the boxing day sale

I think they should be closed, I don't envy people that work in the retail sector in the slightest at this time of year, but after putting up with numerous rude and obnoxious customers in the run up to Christmas they deserve more than one day off.

More than one day? Never. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Thinking of making it a day out with a trip to Furniture Village, too.
