It's not so bad immediately when it happens as you haven't quite worked out why something hurts so much.

I do wear boxers,but the time i did it, jumped out of bed in middle of night as heard a noise chucked a pair of jeans on and bang noise i heard is now insignificant to the noise i am making in the bedroom

Happened to me during teenage years whilst doing a sixth former. Heard someone coming towards the bushes and she vanished from on top and I was left to hurry and zip up and ouch. Have grown up and have button fly forever.
