I'd watch the GP 1st then change the tap - If you start to change it then bollox the job, there'll be no water and you won't get a cuppa while watching the tele  |

That sounds like a good all around solution - taps can be notoriously difficult blighters to change, especially if it's an old bath tap and you ain't got a tap wrench to undo the bak nut. So yes, best plan - let someone else do it and you enjoy the GP  |
