Thinking about getting rid of the red..

Do i go darker or lighter?

I've been various colours over the years so really unsure this time around.

You'll have to go darker until the red grows out.

Red is such a top idea at the time until the pigment invades your hair

had red hair for about 10 years but now loving dark purple- not too much in your face but still not your everyday colour...

Recently got rid of my red. Wanted to go lighter so had to colour remove and bleach too. Now light purple which fades to blue once it's been washed a few times.

Deep red I say! I reckon you would look even sexier than you already do! (If that's possible!)

I've spent 40 years as a brunette, the last twenty just trying to keep the grey at bay and maintain my original hair colour for the most part. But I had a spur of the moment hairdressing decision and am now still a brunette but with lighter coppery ends. I bloody love it! So do both would be my advice.
