"Thinking about getting rid of the red..
Do i go darker or lighter?
I've been various colours over the years so really unsure this time around.
"
You'll have to go darker until the red grows out.
Red is such a top idea at the time until the pigment invades your hair |

Recently got rid of my red. Wanted to go lighter so had to colour remove and bleach too. Now light purple which fades to blue once it's been washed a few times. |

I've spent 40 years as a brunette, the last twenty just trying to keep the grey at bay and maintain my original hair colour for the most part. But I had a spur of the moment hairdressing decision and am now still a brunette but with lighter coppery ends. I bloody love it! So do both would be my advice. |
