Why is it that because there are a few guys that are time wasters on here.

And give it all the chat that they will turn up etc then let people down.

Then you got the guys that want to meet but we get tar with the same brush all the time.

So my question is how do i convince the lady or couple that i am true and wont let them down.

Because i am finding this very hard because of being in the same group as the others.

If they are looking to meet single men then send a message showing your personality and hope they respond.

Bear in mind they will get loads of messages and you may not be the only genuine person.

Its a tough competition for guys around here, even if people didn't have the issue of time wasters.

Whilst I understand where you're coming from, the only person I blame for my lack of success on here is myself.

If there's so many time wasters and idiots out there then a 'good' guy should stand out over and above them all - if I'm not doing enough to get replies and meets then I guess I'm not doing enough on my own profile and in the way I message people to present myself in a favourable light over everyone else.

Therefore I know that I need to work harder!

I give everyone a chance. If they don't sound like they'll turn up or I think they're too good to be true I just tell them to meet me in my local KFC car park. It's literally 5 minutes drive away and if they do t turn up I just get a fully loaded box meal.

You're not getting tarred with the same brush, it's just very competitive, because there are so many single guys on here.

Ask for some profile advice maybe and see if upping your game helps.

There'll be a variety of reasons for lack of meets, one could be that you don't accommodate. Right or wrong there's the assumption you're in a relationship and cheating. Perhaps state why you cannot accommodate.

Remember the guy that blew me off on the first day of Wales' first game in the World Cup?

I bought and cooked sticky chicken skewers from Iceland, wedges, onion rings, garlic bread, got those frozen woo woo cocktail things and he never turned up!

Or it could just be that they don't like the look of them and they like the look of somebody else. Accommodation is sometimes an issue but if you want to meet someone, you meet them.

Meet at clubs and socials, so you've got some purchase with having met in person, rather than an unknown entity on the internet.

It's a numbers game here - message many, rather than pin hopes on one or two. People eventually get meets
