The attic is a great club. When you get there tell them its your first visit and they will show you around and maybe introduce you to some of the regulars.
Just be warm, friendly, respectful and chatty. Speak to people like you would anywhere else. It's really no different to going to the pub except someone may be having sex somewhere. Go with no expectations of play and treat it like a social occasion. If you chat to people they may invite you to play with them.
It is a bring your own booze club. Don't gat pissed though, it's not sexy.
The busiest night is usually a Saturday. I go regularly on Saturdays and there is always a good mix of people. I've been a few times on Friday nights and it was much quieter.
