Horror movies - I just can't.
Forks or metal spoons on the base of a pan or plate when it makes that ear piercing nose as it scrapes.

Ha ha ha, do you know anyone who has actually been bitten by one though? Ooooh they anaesthetise your wound and eat you alive. Total tosh I've never heard of anyone ever getting bit by one and eaten alive. MOD scaremongering at its finest!! |

Sort of the dark, every now and again I'll be in a dark place, alley etc, at night then I'll suddenly remember horror movie scenes that where in similar places....scares the s**t out of me!  |

Yeah we used to catch them and put them in ammo tins with a scorpion but nobody ever got bitten by one, though they do shift like they are turbo charged. |

Don't go there deliberately per se but if at night while walking home from nightclub say find myself walling down what is normal alley during day but at night is when I get flash memories of said movies, hope that makes sense?  |

Rope bridges and similar - age ten had to cross rope bridges over rapids and the fear stuck - so standing on grates like in NY was tough - yet done ..... standing and walking on glass floor at the top of Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth a few months ago was nerve wracking - yet done

Sugar crusted sweets: cola cubes, cola bottles, those fizzy jelly things and the like.

Timely post. Had one of those little slug trails over my carpets for 2 days. Found the slug early hours this morning when I went to the bathroom (bungalow, ground floor). Found it, under my foot. The little tyke came out in the dark, quiet hours  |
