Pink started this thread because she noticed something she liked on the MLS various thank you threads. Just general chit chat, no specific topic. We now have LCT as a hub to chat amongst friends. There are some ppl she never interacts with because she would never post on the same topics. Here there isn't a specific topic just whatever springs to mind, god help us. It's a community and belongs to everyone so it continues as long as someone starts a new thread. It'd be nice to see some new folk, the usual suspects are always here, we need new blood. Pop in and say hello .....

ive had xmas day alone for the most part - when kids were little and went to dads after pressie opening etc - that didnt bother me - just this year son is coming home mid december so wont see him at all - we are having xmas early here this year

I've not tried before lol

all you need is glutonous rice and yeast balls from a Chinese supermarket.

Boil rice, drain and put in a container.

Crush yeast balls and mix into rice.

Cover with cling film and leave in a warm place for a month.

Filter out the rice and bottle the liquid, that's your rice wine, store in fridge. Bin the rice.

Enjoy haha

obviously you need to do some measuring of rice and add the right amount of yeast balls, but it really is that easy.
