That shouldn't block you out unless arm in have given you a time out.
They don't do that for private message stuff
If it's Firefox you use.
Then quit app
Delete app
download app again and see if that works |

If it's a pm it needs to be sent before it can be reported...
And you should be notified by admin.
It sounds more like a browser problem
You could try logging off here and using a different browser e.g. swap chrome for Firefox or similar |

I'm not on an app just a search engine. Deleted history etc no joy 
I'll have to be patient and hope midnight does the trick x

Which search engine?
It works the same way in principal.
Log out of fab and everything
Clear history
Log out of search engine
Log back in to search engine
Retry.
