Hypothetically, let’s say that I have decided to propose to Pink. I’m aware of the obstacles at present but in this iteration of the Matrix, let’s assume it’s ok.
I’ve decided that Paris is the place and I am armed with the finest quality Haribo ring but as to the rest, I’m stumped. I’m sure the good people of Fab can help.
So, the questions...
How do we get there?
Where are we staying?
Where do I pop the question?

Fly or Eurostar
Hotel with a balcony that overlooks the Eiffel tower
Just you and her champagne on ice
No need for witnesses... in a restaurant or on a bridge or at the Eiffel.
I feel these moments should be just between the two of you and then tweet Facebook instagram to your hearts content .
Good luck if it's going to turn into a genuine proposal |

That’s sounding good although we’ll substitute champagne for something else and let’s not mention apps. It’s a touchy subject. |

I was proposed to in the living room after a shitty day at work. For me it was as perfect as it could have got. Just us. Nothing fancy, no big declaration in public. |

Take eurostar, when you get off at Gare du Nord take the metro to the closest station to Montmartre, walk through the pretty, little streets (very steep) to Sacre Coeur and propose outside there over looking Paris.
No idea where you should stay though. |

I once (and only once) planned on proposing, money saved, ring all but chosen and then i came to my senses and bought a new van instead. Best choice ever, never let me down, was always there for me and most importantly didn`t lie or take the piss. Haha.
In my opinion though, if you want to make a good proposal you should make it something personal to you. Maybe at the place you had your first date or somewhere significant and with relevance to you both. I would avoid doing it with an audience mainly because i think it should be an intimate moment but also the pressence of a crowd may put pressure on or overwhelm. I`m sure others might disagree and desire a big show dance about it but if you know your partner you should know what they would prefer. If you don`t know what they would like then you should consider holding back on the proposal. |

The balcony is a fake but Italy is one of the most beautiful places to go to.
The Italians have a knack for making it all sound more romantic.
Taking a gondala ride and kissing under the bridge of sighs is sold as sealing your love what they don't tell you is that it's called the bridge of sighs for more sinister reason's. It was one of the last things prisoners would see on their way to be hanged so was the point of regret for most.
What I am saying in a very long winded way is research it

Definitely Eurostar is the most relaxing way to get there - pretty easy to get anywhere from Gare du Nord.
Plenty of places for romance but I wouldn’t pick the Eiffel Tower as 1.been done to death 2. Security and barriers around it make it crazy!
If you like heights go for afternoon tea in Tour Montparnasse
If you like greenery catch a train or taxi out to Versailles and walk / hire a bike / little electric cart
There’s a gorgeous little park / garden near the Louvre as well. The Tuileries
Hotels are plentiful - if you want something nice but basic and save your cash for activities then can recommend Hotel Beau Grenelle St Charles
If you do go whether to hypothetically propose or not then feel free to PM me xxx
