My dad had a problem with his over 10yr ago and was getting a bit puffy in the face, only discover when he had a minor stroke, within a few months of meds he was doing fine and has been since
Another person I know of I believe they had theirs removed and theu are doing fine too. "Thanks Paul. I actually went to the doctor for a completely different thing and had about 9 different blood tests done and hypothyroidism, was picked up, amongst other things. Have been for blood test this morning and GP wants to see me next week, with result. Also had a flu jab because my immune systems is so low. It's interesting how common the condition is, I never thought I would be involved with anything common! Hope you have a good weekend xx | |||

My dad had a problem with his over 10yr ago and was getting a bit puffy in the face, only discover when he had a minor stroke, within a few months of meds he was doing fine and has been since
Another person I know of I believe they had theirs removed and theu are doing fine too.
Thanks Paul. I actually went to the doctor for a completely different thing and had about 9 different blood tests done and hypothyroidism, was picked up, amongst other things. Have been for blood test this morning and GP wants to see me next week, with result. Also had a flu jab because my immune systems is so low. It's interesting how common the condition is, I never thought I would be involved with anything common! Hope you have a good weekend xx
It's good that they found it while looking for something else, means it wasn't playing up too much for it to be obvious, so hopefully meds should get it back in balance, don't quote me tho as I'm no GP. Hope the other stuff is as easily treatable

Vitamin B12 deficiency is easily treatable, it's a simple injection every month or so
