"Who cares? They are tasty
Oh and about 42% potato according to a trivial pursuit question I had earlier. This hasn't been verified as true"
42% spud, the rest is the squeezy cheese I use to 'glue' them together |

I fuckin love Pringles. I can't stop eating them when I open them so I don't buy them. But when I'm traveling I always keep a tube of them in my bag (sour cream and onion, please!). They are a lifesaver when you're hungry and you're backpacking somewhere where food is hard to come by. |

I remember having the small snack tubs for packed lunches....I don't think they do them anymore |

What are they made of? Pure unadulterated taste! (Actually primary ingredient is dehydrated potato....according to my tube of Prawn Cocktail flavour) |

Yes! Those plastic tube thingies shaped like Pringles that fit about 20 of them? They were reusable and you just filled them from the bigger tubes. Oh, memories! |

Ingredients. Pringles have about 42% potato content, the remainder being wheat starch and flours (potato, corn, and rice) combined with vegetable oils, an emulsifier, salt, and seasoning. |

"I thought they were a corn based snack.
Dehydrated potato is the main ingredient according to my tube here, does have corn flour, but that's down the list. "
Aren't potatoes mostly water? |

Not sure. But they remove the water, grind it down into a Powder, this powder is then reconstructed into the classic Pringle shape so it can be stacked. |

"If it's true that 'once you pop you can't stop' why do they come with a re-sealable lid?"
Stone the flamin crows! Yes why is that?
Someone from Pringles HQ needs to come in here and explain that.
Oh and bring some with you. Need some snacks now |

The Truth Behind How Pringles are Made. While traditional potato chip manufacturers shave off slices of potato and deep fry them, Pringles are much different. The creation process begins with a slurry of wheat, rice, corn, and potato flakes that are pressed into form |
