Not interested in football but have a question
Jump to: Newest in thread
Turns out Forest have sacked their manager after only one win in the last seven games.
My question is, why do they always sack the manager? Surely it's the players that lose the games, not the manager as he's not playing.
this is a serious question. |

"Manager is responsible for training, tactics and should be able to organise the players to play in a way to get results.
Apparently "
I wish this rule is applicable in work place...lol |

Why do they sack the manager but they still pay him?
In 'normal' life if you get the sack then thats it, no money, no job, no benefits!
Also when did players earn so much doing nothing? I worked with a guy who played for york city, ok i know its not a big club but all players had jobs as well as playing football.
.....stoopid game lol |

They should only be able to sack the manger during certain periods of the year. Maybe during the transfer window, it might stop most of it.
Quite often OP the manager will bring his players in HE WANTS but uses the owners money. If that dosent work the owner puts the blame with the manager.
Sometimes the players revolt and throw a paddy and thus the manager has 'lost the dressing room'. Sometimes it's the fans that cause it by protesting or even worse stop coming to games. |

They will have a clause in their contract involving being sacked and probably the conditions for being so.
Believe Moyles had a time frame in his contract about being sacked, if he was under certain length of time then no payment. |

I'm in the wrong management! Paid millions a year, fail so paid millions when sacked then another chairman thinks you'll turn his club round so offers you millions....etc etc etc, sounds like the best management job in the world...and you see the world! |

As a derby fan i do love to see forest in a shambles again, though we went through a sacking period over last couple of years. If the manager gets sack for picking crap team though who gets sack for choosing shit managers.
Its the only job that rewards failure with the pay off they get aswell |
