I'm so happy I'm not on Faceache, Twatter or Crapchat - or any other bollocks
I'm not judging those that are - but it's not for me.
Who else doesn't like to brag about their lives on social media? |

I’m on there but don’t really post that much now. Had some pretty devestating news at the beginning of summer that I couldn’t really share openly so was easier to take a step back from it.
But I know what you mean, I see people who do so much and have fantastic holidays all the time that it’s all look how wonderful my life is. I don’t begrudge them but they look down at the likes of me and make judgments x |

I'm only on fb but don't post much. I think it's a bit cringeworthy the amount of bragging that goes on sometimes. Big piles of presents, 'I got this', 'I got that' no ones really bothered are they?!!!
I like it for the reminders I get and fb messenger is handy |

Much like this site, Facebook and any other social media is what you make of it.
Yes a lot of people air their dirty laundry on it and there are a lot of drama lama's out there but just don't react to it and it has very little impact on your life.
It always makes me laugh when people think they're special for not being on Facebook and feel the need to declare it all the time. Almost as if they need a social media platform to inform everyone that they aren't on social media lol just get in with life the way you want to and let others go the same. |

I overheard someone telling a guy that he’d blown his chances with her because he didn’t accept her friend request.
I chuckled and was glad that I don’t really dabble in Facebook anymore. |

I have Facebook but post very little and mainly just use it to keep in touch with friends all over the world (I grew up abroad).
I don't have Twitter or Snapchat or anything else - I do like to have an occasional nose and laugh at some people's Twitter but that's as far as it goes really. Snapchat I just don't understand! |

And funnily enough, two of the most prolific braggers on my Facebook who are permanently showing off how perfect their lives are - both of their husbands are on fab as single men and one of them I know has a particular passion for regular Tgirl meets and slags the wife off endlessly, so all is not as perfect as it seems! |

"This site is social media
You want to read what they say in Facebook about this place. "
Tell me about it, I have a group of friends in a private group and some of what we talk about is pretty raunchy but I couldn’t tell them I’m on here as this is a step too far x |

Haha this
It's all fakery - yes this site is social media - but at least I get something out of it
I don't think I'm "special" for not using it - it's just not for me.
If I want to know what shade of grey the women at work are having their kitchen tiles - I'll talk to them about it at work
At least I'm getting paid to listen to bragging and drivel about their kids!

I am on facebook but post very little, I have one friend that is always posting about how wonderful their life is and much of her posts revolve around money things they've bought and things they are doing and I don't think it's nice.
We aren't well off by any means but we do have more than some so I'm very conscious about what I post.
I tend to hide people that would be awkward to delete but I can't abide their posts especially Britain's First posts.

I like Facebook. I use it for local community info, gigs/ events, funny people that I follow. People on mine that post lovey dovey stuff usually means they end up divorced soon after- the showing off is just to hide the cracks. |
