You could hear the collective scream of 'NOOOOOOOOOOOOO' when my local supermarket said they could only take cash payments. Then VISA

How will people even pay for anything now? lol

I paid for my takeaway Chinese with shrapnel from the bottom of my handbag when my card got refused. I tried to barter a half tube of smarties and chewing gum for some spring rolls but they weren't having any of it. No sense of humour some folk..

I was in Germany all week. Nobody took cards except supermarkets, garages and the airport..

Everybody else cash only. Hotels, restaurants, cafes.. corner shops..

So much for the master race....!!! Bleeding fecking nightmare. I dk not have cash most of the time now and I never carry cash ever when abroad on business...

We don't use cards for paying for anything apart a couple of online stores, they know enough about us already without monitoring what we spend out money on!
