I'm currently 254 messages into someone I told no to in the 3rd message.

I have no issue talking to him, I just don't want to meet him.

Your messages saying no light up his inbox and lead him to think that no will eventually mean yes.

Well if that's your attitude, you won't be getting a 255th

If he has difficulty understanding no, why would you want to continue a dialogue?

Just thought blocking seems severe that’s all.

Nah. Saves your time, saves his. Blocking does you both a favour. Like a reverse hotlist.

It's not in my opinion

If they can't understand a no,they are not very respectful.

I block early if they don't get the message.

"I'm sorry we're not compatible. I won't be replying again as I don't waste people's time. Hope you find someone nice. x"

If he replies again just delete. If he gets abusive report to Admin.

I pretty much never block.

We blocked one guy who we see on the school run because he didnt understand no.

He turned up at my work and said I needn't be shy we're all adults, unblock him, blah blah blah.

It seems even a block isn't enough for some!

If he doesn't listen to a no in a message, will he listen to a no in person? Doubt it.

Blocking saves you both hassle, time and energy anyway.

Block the bad ones, message the good ones!

Message say no thx, then don't reply again! If they continue to message just block, 3+ messages is automatic block!!

Blocking isn't severe. On here it's a necessity.

The more you respond, the more he sees the door ajar. Slam it in his face and be done with it.
