That people without a full body shot on their profile are hiding something?
I've found it's usually womens profiles that do this.
Who's got a full body shot on theirs- warts and all?

It’s probably because women are more self conscious of their bodies than men. You usually see certain areas are covered even if there is a full body photo. I like it when a women just shows you what she’s got and doesn’t care, that confidence is sexy. |

I think so too.
We're all shy about our bodies but we shouldn't be.
Especially as this site is full of people all different shapes and sizes.

There's several full body shots (with undies) of both of us on our profile so anyone we meet is under no illusions as what to they're getting if they meet us. We show face pictures privately. |

I don’t that that people should upload naked photos just because they’re on a sex site though. You should upload what you like and are comfortable with. If I had to post naked photos I wouldn’t be on the site.

I also think that if you're a bit chubby you can tell from the body parts pictures.
As a chubby woman myself I can spot chubbyness ( is that a word?  ) a mile away! |

Hiding their insecurities? Their desire to show all? Their crappy ability to take a full length photo?
I think that for some women yes they might be hiding a physical feature they are less than keen on but I don't know. It's probably less out of a not good intent (deception etc) and more from a place of slight doubt. |

I wouldn't say people without one are hiding something, people just do what they are comfortable with. I've a full standing naked frontal pic so anyone I'm seriously chatting too can see how I look without all the lingerie and angles.
Plus I'd rather they turn up knowing what to expect  |

I think I've got 2 or 3 of what I'd describe as full body pics on mine. Maybe my feet are missing in a couple of them but they tend not to be the focus of other people's attention!
I'm very much of the attitude 'why hide anything?' because if I was going to put anyone off I'd rather do it sooner than later. I do understand though how full body pics make some people feel very exposed - mine only go up when I'm feeling particularly confident - and therefore I don't necessarily jump to the conclusion that the lack of them means a deliberate attempt to mislead because it's a big thing for many to get totally naked. So long as there's a reasonable cross section of other pics (and not just an eye, or a foot or something equally uninformative) you can normally form a pretty good impression of body size and shape I find. |

I have full body shots but always with lingerie on there’s only one person that ever sees me fully naked , if we have a meet I always wear lingerie and it mostly all stays on .. I do see pics where they are too close in most shots but I always think they must be trying to hide something ? |

I do have a couple in private.
Think my profile makes it clear I'm not a twig, and from my meets and repeats I guess people like what I've got.

I actually think men are worse for it than women. Obviously there are the cock shot supremos who have no body parts but there are loads who only mix it up with face and bum. |

I find it hard taking a full body shot that's meant to be sexy on my own - short arms! But I do have a non-sexy full length pic in my jammies, so that I can't be accused of false advertising |

I have a few full body pics with and without clothes.
For me a face pic is most important, shared privately or only for friends.
I think many people are self conscious of their bodies and choose to hide them. While I understand that, I also think it’s a pity. I find confidence in your own skin a sexy quality no matter what size you are. |

I have a few where you can see my full body. I think on some I look a bit bigger than on others but they are pretty much what I look like. No warts but a large scar and a lorra lorra moles I’ve noticed. I look like I’m chocolate chipped in some places |

I have a few I think... But similarly to Babs, I'm wearing lingerie or have a towel draped etc... I'm simply not comfortable having fully naked or explicit pics on the Internet... More to do with a horrible fear of my Mum or another family member ever being somehow exposed to them than anything else |

Well now lady you make an interesting observation.
I don't have my cock on profile as I believe not many wish to see that straight away.but I do show my bum.
Do I worry about my body? Yes a little but I'm sure we all have bits we wish to change etc.
As for women in general I like looking at how she is dressed and colours also are important for me black n red makes you stand out in my eyes.
As for a woman's body I think a lot worry about larger thighs and possibly a little tummy so maybe hide this in pics.
One woman I met wanted to keep her little outfit on because she worried about her tummy but later that evening she was naked with me because it soon became apparent I wasn't worried the connection was made.
But I think all of us delete more pics than we post as we are so concerned about our image.

Yup, I was here about 4 years before I even let half a nipple slip out lol! I post full length pics from time to time, I'm the same weight as my current avatar, but I hate podgy tummies so no way I'm taking pics of mine! And putting nude pics or even topless pics on a public website just isn't me - it's not something I consider appropriate or necessary.
Luckily for me a lot of the guys I meet appreciate the fact too, I often get messages saying my profile makes a refreshing change.  |

Yes. They are hiding what they really look like and showing their best side so to speak. Think we all do it to a certain extent,but some are so blatant that you just know. I think you are fairly accurate with this a lot do have snapshots I presume its a lack of confidence or body image issues. I do wonder the reaction people them display but then its an individuals choice what to put up or not. |

I have a belly flap regarless of how fat, or not, that I am. When I am naked and in front of the mirror I am not bothered by it. What I see, I think, looks pretty good, so I am quite confident when I am naked, in person. When I take a picture is when I hate my body as it looks bugger all how I see it... Being dressed is often a problem too as most things make me look weird or, at the moment, like a potato. I'm not that bothered if others don't like it, it is all due to how I feel about it.
I do have a friend that told me that alot of the women he has met from here and dating sites have been bigger than expected, to some degree. I think we all hide something we dislike... Now I just need to figure out how to hide the dark circles around my eyes n I'll be happy  |

They are hiding something though it can be for many reasons. Maybe they send to prospective meet maybe not I don't know with women but guys are less body shy and send it all often.
I have read a few times on guys doing a runner as in going to the toilets in a pub and not coming back and think Ahhhhh they never saw a full accurate photo.
Its choice though but people shouldn't cry if meets do a runner feeling they have been deceived. |

I would not put a naked body pic up as I am unhappy with my body
I don't look good without clothes
Through my eyes, very few people of my age do
I admire (if not envy) those that show pics with every lump, bump and bit of sagging skin on display
