Talktalk and it’s shit, we had it installed about two months ago and currently I’ve been using my data almost ever since, living in a hotel we can use their WiFi but with a full hotel the speed is crap (bt).

Virgin here. No idea about the speed but my children always moan about the lag.

Considered changing to Sky recently but heard that's even worse so will continue to be conned by Virgin Media

I’m on BT Infinity; Usually about 50-60 mbps download with approx 15-19mbps upload speeds. Not the best going but it gets me through

I’ve tried the following:-

Sky= Ribbish

TalkTalk= Terrible

Vodafone= keeps dropping

Relic= Super Lag

BT= was ok but started playing up.

Virgin= I’m heading back once I’m done with Vodafone

Virgin gets thumbs up from me.

London/Essex... ish... Romford to be exact

Why do people need such fast speeds may i ask? Is it for online gaming and sky tv and /or large households? I don't have fibre broadband but don't feel i need it.

Try having World of Warcraft playing upstairs while you’re trying to play CoD downstairs. Gah! Nightmare!

I was going to move us to Virgin but then my other half decided to make a deal with Sky which has left us with some terrible bandwidth issues. As soon as the mandatory two years is up, I’m dragging us over to Virgin

Sky it's shit..

BT was better be was a lot of money compared to Sky and it's sky's Broadband hub not the speed that's the problem..

I'm looking to change currently I'm on Talk Talk, no real issues just price increases, if I move to sky and sky TV what would I get and for how much? Might be worth the increase as I currently pay for the Now TV packages as well.

Northampton Somewhere

I went to the car phone warehouse recently for mobile phones, the guy in there said they can get better deals from most providers if you go through them. Top tip, that's what we're doing if we change.

I'm with Virgin and pay around £90 a month. That's for tv and everything else, not the top package though. We threatened to leave so they gave us sky cinema free for a year.

What does everyone else pay?

Cannock Chase Area

I'm on Virgin, 75 Mb download. Upload isn't that good though, around 4 Mb. I run a VPN service from my home to allow me to connect into home when away with work, great for Banking etc.

Pay £37 per month just for Broadband, no TV package as quite happy with Netflix and Amazon.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I have Virgin with the homeworking thingy. It doesn't stop them switching me off when I'm in the middle of a report to do work on the cable or whatever.

However, the youngster across the way can access it (with full permission) and their gaming doesn't affect me at all.

Hiding in the shadows

We're with Virgin

Bloody awful!

Internet drops signal numerous times a day, we've had 6 new hubs over the last year.

My landline hadn't worked since before Xmas

Had 3 engineers out, totaly rewired in the house

Now waiting on new cable outside

Still been charged full bills, keep saying they'll credit my account, havn't yet

If I try to call I have to from my mobile

I gave up after 17mins on hold last week, contact online

Still waiting to hear back

Can't wait til my contract is up

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

I was on 200mb Virgin and loved it. Reliable and as I think I was the only one on the street with it, I actually did get the full 200.

Now I've moved to a non-Virgin area, so having to slum it on Vodafone's 55mb. . Which is fine, except there'll be no proactive increases until the rest of the county catches up and overtakes - so I'll still be on 55mb when the rest of you are on 500mb!
