I think you can tell if people are stringing you along or feeding you their fantasy, and often if it’s too good to be true it usually isn’t true

She was referring to statuses and comments on profiles rather than for example fake profiles.

I have been here long enough myself to spot those...or know that a profile belongs to someone I know.

Don't really pay much attention to it all to be honest as it doesn't affect real life unless a social is on the cards then just pay particular attention to detail until you can take what gets said on face value
