I'm a wood turner and my friends keep asking wether I can make one for them.
Apperantly they are better than glass ones because they hold the heat and better than plastic because it saves the ocean.
Thoughts please???

After slaying the fear of splinters, wooden dildos could be things of beauty. Imagine Varnished veins and the parallel lines of grain...also imagine the feel of a balsa compared to that of an oak beast. |

Rustins plastic coating would be resistant to just about anything that's likely to come into contact with it, silky smooth too |

They can make wood very smooth using a very high grit sandpaper ... We used some in the workshop to make ribs for a boat, could make oak feel like glass, could probably use some epoxy resin as fine protective layer to stop it splintering.  |

Resin? So not only porous wood, it would be chemically treated.....ok you test it up your arse first......then if your fine after a few sessions maybe.....deal?  |

We've reviewed several wooden dildos and they are things of beauty and great fun. All have been sealed with a body-safe lacquer or resin to negate the porosity issue. Splinters are never going to be an issue unless you have damaged the dildo somehow.
Unfortunately, I can't help with the brand of lacquer used though. |

varnish maybe? .... Another thing about wood is it expands when wet... Takes a long time to expand but I guess if its used regularly you've got a self growing/expanding dildo |

I would of thought using an epoxy sealer would stop anything penetrating the wood. Or if you really want to totally seal it maybe dip the finished item in clear epoxy resin and then turn it again and polish it to a crystal clear finish. That way you get the look of wood but totally sealed. |

There are various types of organic toys that are on the market from stone to animal horn to wood etc.
All are asthetically pleasing to the eye. Alot are works of art as well as functional.
Most wooden toys are made from hard woods. The grain is tightly packed so the wood tends to be less porous and waterproof.
Animal horn toys are particularly devine and give very unique shapes and sizes...
Moon stone love eggs have been around for centuries..
It is not implausible to make your own versions of wooden toys. Research is the key.

Epoxy resin is amazing stuff .... Can make loads of stuff from it... Might be a good project for a woman to make her own epoxy dildo... Put their favourite items inside it to decorate it like say with flowers or gem stones make it look pretty. |
