I've just made a bad mistake - I like colouring my hair as went grey at age 14 (not a good look) I've recently been experimenting with different shades of red , more recently I'd picked up the wrong box and went mahogany. Too dark methinks - I'd go back to auburn, I liked that one. However as mahogany is so dark, I decided to apply colour stripper - did exactly what it said in the instructions - now I have almost white hair at my roots going to dark brown at the ends! Do I risk putting the auburn on or do I wait until I get up to South Shields on Friday and go to my hairdressers there? (btw the wigs are in south shields so can't even hide behind them until friday)

I'd wait to have it done by a hairdresser, just in case anything else goes wrong

Mother in law - tried to change her hair colour after a kit didnt give her the shade she wanted - so she put some kit or other on it and it turned a lovely shade of Green so she proceded to put another kit on it and turned it a lovely shade of yellow ..

oh how i laughed ... i couldnt hide it and the tears were just streaming down my face when i seen it

Thanks Fia, I think Jim's booking me an appointment as part of my birthday present (this Monday if anyone's interested)so I'm sure he can extend the gift to include a proper colour again

I suppose I should be grateful then - now it's drying, it's not looking quite as bad (I hope)

lots of stuff I regretted soon after but in the long term it was all part of life's rich experience.

So no, not really.

Yes I've regretted things I've done and wished I'd done them differently ..... but those regrets have also shaped me as the person I am now. xx

I used to regret parts of my life then realised if it wasn't for those mistakes in my path in life I may not have my kids or be the stronger person I am today

ive got these words on my profile ...this song changed my life id been umming and arring about following my dream to live by the sea .......i heard the words of this song "things you never done " and it made up my mind to follow my heart ...im so glad i did ....and yes ive had bad hair diasters too but not any more ..... im all natural now

Now your grandson blonde haired blue eyed handsome

Calls you up from London and sits and asks you why

So your answer, don't be scared of failure

For the only failure is never to try

As far as regrets go I put my own into a song....

Persona Non Grata

Old Rusty Gun

When i retire I'm gonna go where no one can find me.

I wouldn't say if it wasn't true

I wouldn't make a promise to you

Persona Non Grata

Old Rusty Gun...

I know ive not been a saint

If I go to hell for the things that I've done will you wait

Rusty gun, that's what they say

But I'm older and wiser than most of the outlaws today.

Older and wiser than most of the outlaws today.

My regret is the opposite of this in a way, because I have been married twice and made up my mind never to get married again. Then I met a lovely woman in Stroud who wanted to marry me and I refused. She was an absolutely lovely person. What a fool I was.

The biggest thing i regret was playing with matches in the summer of 1977 and long grass caught alite and a couple of holiday caravans caught light. I was 11 and scared shitless.

I regret regaining half of the 10st I lost in 2007 ... I've never quite managed to find my mojo again. If someone finds it, please send it to me first class (I'll happily refund the 60p for the stamp!)
