little house on the praire

My friends son had show and tell today at school and he took a cade lamb in from the farm. Dont suppose many kids today know what a cade lamb is. My grandparents lived on a farm and from being a very small child i used to feed the cade lambs and i could hand milk a cow at 4

Its a lamb whose mother has either died giving birth or is rejected by the mother. You then have to hand rear them

Fekkin lambs, stinky smelly things bloody bleating all the Goddamn time!!

Did quite a bit of lambing...including feeding the flippin orphans or multiples four times a day grrrrrr best place for em is on your plate!

And as for sheep... fekking suicidal they are... give a sheep a perfectly good field full of grass and they will fling themselves upside-down in a sodding ditch and die!!!
